Four Hours to a Happier Relationship

This interactive workshop provides practical tools to jump-start your relationship. In only four hours, couples and individuals who are in a committed relationship can rekindle the fun and friendship they remember fondly, using techniques based on research from PREP, Inc. Learn and practice two effective communication techniques, discover how to reconnect and make your relationship a priority.

Is Anyone Listening To Me? Solving Communication Problems in Relationships

Realize the value of expressing your viewpoint while sincerely trying to understand your partner's opinions. Learn the difference between solvable problems that you find frustrating, and perpetual problems that can haunt your relationship for years. Practice three effective communication techniques from PREP, Active Relationships Center, and research data from Dr. J. Gottman. Apply these tools to resolve conflict and experience the connection and fulfillment in your relationships that you really want and need.

Before You Say "I Do" - Marriage Education for Engaged Couples

The bride and groom need to think about many things before their wedding day. In addition to planning for your "special day" it's also important not to forget to plan for your marriage, which will last much longer than the wedding cake and flowers. Before you say "I do", spend 4 hours developing skills for building a strong marriage foundation with other engaged couples who are also improving their relationships skills before their wedding day.

Relationship Preparation Boot Camp for Singles

There is an abundance of dating resources today, from self-help books to Internet dating services, which help singles repeat the pattern of choosing the "wrong" person. Rather than jumping into another unsatisfying relationship, arm yourself with research-based relationship preparation tools. Practice proactive behaviors that can create a sustainable lifelong relationship. Begin your next relationship from a position of confidence, positive intention, and self-respect. Topics covered include: the 7 Dating Traps, Getting Clear About What You Want and How to Make it Happen, It's Not Just About Sex - The Four Components of Connection, and How to be a Conscious Dater. This series of workshops are for singles (18 and older) who are ready to take an active role in preparing themselves for their next long-term relationship.
